In the Balance

Addressing the imbalances of our lives will help to maintain health and energy.

As we know balance means stability and equilibrium, in the physical, balance is a combination of strength and flexibility.

Your yoga practice helps to maintain your muscular structure and supports your skeletal system and improves respiratory capacity.  More importantly it helps to strengthen and purify your central nervous system and stimulate the endocrine system.  And therein is the mind / body connection.  The nervous and endocrine systems are our bodies control panels.  They provide information and provoke action regulating the bodies’ functions.

The breathe or pranayama exercises in yoga improves respiratory capacities; flowing along with the bodies movements or asanas.  So that breathe flowing with body movement balances mental and bodily functions.

Giving mindfulness to your yoga practice will maintain your health and develop your energy, thereby giving a great improvement to the balance in all of life.
Here are some other great benefits of yoga;
no matter what level a practitioner, the benefits are seen within a short period of time
